Be still and know that I am God

Today's post shared from SpiritualDirection.com

ON THE LOVING DWELLING OF JESUS CHRIST ON THE ALTARS OF THE MOST HOLY SACRAMENT

“Come to me, all ye that labor and are burdened, and I will refresh you.”

Matthew 11:28

Having to depart from this world after he had completed the work of redemption, our loving Savior did not wish to leave us alone in this valley of tears.

Commitment

Hebrews 10:16 - I will  put My  laws in their hearts, and I will write them upon their minds.

When God did this He wanted to be sure we need not depend on human teaching.  The marriage commitment is of great importance.  God teaches that it is about one man, one woman and God Himself.

"Overwhelm Me with your love"

We so often  say, "offer up your suffering", Jesus  needs our love as much if not  more than our  suffering.  Go to Mass with the intension of loving Him for all He has done for you. Love Him for those who have no love for Him.

This is the most intense week of our year spend it projecting love on Jesus and all mankind.

Looking for Peace

St. Ignatius taught,  "Learn to see God in everything."  We now can only find Him in the void we have in our empty lives.  An atheist society is directed to self.  God does not  reside in self.  The self needs God to fill the void.  "GOD alone is enough." ~ St. Theresa of Avila.

The natural law, the code within us calls us to peace.  Humans look for peace in loving relationships.  If you don't find them in your home, family, school or church community you will search the world over looking for the peace that surpasses all understanding. The peace that only Christ can give. That is the peace that only comes from God.

Now watch the news.  A young man finds peace by crashing a plane, killing himself and 150 others.  Young girls look for peace in leaving the country of their birth to give themselves as sex slaves for raising children for terrorists. Partnering with monsters to create more monsters. As a culture we say,  isn't that too awfully bad. Then we get used to it the way we have learned to roll with all the other inhumane and unnatural acts of our everyday existence. I know only one couple from my parents generation that divorced.  We legislated no fault divorce and .. walah ..... skip to 2015 ....  few couples bother to marry and many choose not to have children.
Back to the god of self.

Please pray for change,  dramatic change.

"Please offer your day as a prayer for those whose hearts I am calling to My Sacred Heart today."

The Feast of the Annunciation

What is the point of life with out love and where does that love come from? Only in answering that question can we begin to resolve the hideous state our civilization finds it self in. In order to do that we must go back to the beginning. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God. God created us to have companions in this universe. He created us to love Him above all others, as well as above all material matter.

Every message given to us by God has its basis in love. We are suppose to be taught to love God with our with our whole heart, our whole being and our whole mind. God told His people to teach this message day and night. Day after day. How does this compare to what we teach and preach today? I was one of the lucky ones. Born in 1951 at a time when passing on the message of God to His people was still the central focus of our family, church and school education. Teaching the truth of God's law was of great importance. Our teachers were people of integrity.

Whether it be mother, father and other family members or church and school teachers. The point was to teach truth not lies. Mary's fiat was based in her knowledge of truth. Her yes came from the knowledge of a loving God whom she also loved above all things. She knew her yes brought suffering just as the innocent victims of terrorism now in our times know that a yes to God means a certain hideous death. Why are people in our times still dying for the name of Jesus? Because God said, "I will write it in there minds and place it in their hearts." They know the love of God is far greater than this life on earth.

We are all given a soul at conception. Run, run, run as fast as you can but you can not out run your soul. Neither can you out run the love and mercy of Jesus or death itself. The Jewish people wanted and needed to be delivered from Pharoh and Egyptian slavery. We in this present time insist on being delivered from God and His law of love, into slavery of every kind. My next question can be answered by watching ten minutes of television news.

The question is, "how are we doing?" If you don't think we are at a critical juncture in History then you have no sense of the need for correction. You will have no interest in this blog site or in the need for dramatic change. As culture we are legislating the death and moral decay of our children. I don't believe any other culture has found itself in this position. Whether you believe it is desperate or not depends on how prayerful you are.

If God is in His rightful place in your life you will know the truth and have the freedom to see the situation as it really is and a strong desire to do something about it. And so this concept of women praying for those on the front lines of our society who also stand for truth, speak and teach it with all the life they have in them has been concieved. Our mission is to support in prayer, in love in hope. In the way we live our lives.

We need to set the example of dignity through purity. As Pope Francis said to the millions of pilgrims in the Phillipines, "live in your hearts and live from your hearts." The heart is were Jesus resides, you will know the truth and that truth will set you free. You can in turn teach your neighbor how to regain their dignity as a human being.

I have placed different prayers and ministries on this site that we can learn from and teach from. God is with us and time is wasting.
Love be with you,

St. Joseph Novena - BEGINS: March 10th

St. Joseph Novena

St. Joseph's Feast Day is March 19th ... join us in this powerful Novena beginning 3/10/15.
st. joseph novenaSt. Joseph is a powerful patron. He is, as John Paul II called him, the Guardian of the Redeemer. He humbly accepted his role as guardian, husband and father in the Holy Family. Therefore, St. Joseph’s intercession has been sought for centuries.
St. Joseph was clearly very close to our Lord and so we come to him with this novena with a sense of humility because of his great humility.
There are actually a few different feast days for Saint Joseph, but March 19th has been most celebrated as his feast day in Western Christianity. But of course, you can pray a novena to him anytime.

St. Joseph Novena Prayers

Saint Joseph, you are the faithful protector and intercessor of all who love and venerate you. You know that I have confidence in you and that, after Jesus and Mary, I come to you as an example for holiness, for you are especially close with God. Therefore, I humbly commend myself, with all who are dear to me and all that belong to me, to your intercession. I beg of you, by your love for Jesus and Mary, not to abandon me during life and to assist me at the hour of my death.
Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, pray for me to have a pure, humble, charitable mind, and perfect resignation to the divine Will. Be my guide, my father, and my model through life that I may die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary.
Loving Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, I raise my heart to you to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the Divine Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death, and the special grace I now implore:
(Mention your request)
Guardian of the Word Incarnate, I feel confident that your prayers on my behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God.
Day 1 – St. Joseph Most Just, Pray for us!
Day 2 – St. Joseph Most Prudent, Pray for us!
Day 3 – St. Joseph Most Loving Husband, Pray for us!
Day 4 – St. Joseph Most Strong, Pray for us!
