Day 4
O St. Maria Goretti, beautiful model of chastity, you guarded your virginity with such fervor. Even at the age of 11, you knew the value of the virtue of chastity.
Please pray that I will become better at practicing chastity in my own life.
Pray that I will learn to live a life in which desire is subservient to reason. Please pray that I will be able to love as Jesus does: selflessly.
Please pray also for (mention your intentions here). Amen.
Dedicated prayerful women spreading the need for purity. Our Mission is to spread the message of Purity, Love, and Mercy.

St. Maria Goretti Novena Day 3
O St. Maria Goretti, beautiful model of forgiveness, pray for me.
Even at the age of 11, you did not withhold forgiveness from your attacker. You didn’t wish him unwell. On the contrary, you wanted Heaven for him. You loved him in that way. Pray for me that I too will be able to love my enemies like you did. Pray that I will want Heaven for them. Please pray that it will become easier and easier to forgive those who have hurt me and those who will hurt me.
Please pray for my own healing from these past hurts so that I can move forward and offer forgiveness. Please pray also for (mention your intentions ). Amen.

St. Maria Goretti Novena Day 2
O St. Maria Goretti, beautiful model of love, your love for God was so clear in how you cared for your family during such hardships and in how you loved your enemies — even unto death.
Even at the age of 11, you understood what it meant to love the Lord and to love your neighbor as yourself. Pray for me that I may be able to do the same.
Please pray that I will truly be able to serve my family joyfully, and others who need my help and love. And most of all, pray that our Lord will come first in my heart. Please pray also for (mention your intentions ). Amen.

Novena to St. Maria Goretti Day 1
O St. Maria Goretti, beautiful model of purity, you defended your virginity unto your death. Even at the age of 11, you held dear to your heart what is dear to our Lord’s heart: your purity. Pray for me that I may do the same, especially when I am tempted.
Please pray that God will give me the strength to avoid sin and say, “yes” to a life which will lead to eternity in Heaven with you and our Lord.
Please also pray for (mention your intentions here). Amen

The Resistance Movement against President Trump
The
relentless attacks on our President by some members of the Democratic
Party, so-called “stars” of the entertainment world and the Mainstream
Media have influenced the rise of a Resistance Movement that refuses to
recognize his legitimate authority. They have made many groundless
attacks on President Trump, especially regarding the Comey and Russian
matters, for both of which no evidence has been shown of obstruction of
justice or any other crimes.
These attacks have divided our country and have influenced wicked people to perform malicious and violent acts on properties of our colleges and universities and on our public properties, most of which have gone unpunished. The most recent of these ended with the death of the perpetrator and his rifle shooting and wounding of five people, including a United States Representative who was peacefully playing our national pastime of baseball. This perpetrator apparently posted profane anti-Trump statements on Facebook and asked if the ballplayers were Republicans before he began firing his rifle.
St. Paul said to pray “for all in authority, [such as our President] that we may lead a quiet and tranquil life in all devotion and dignity. This is good and pleasing to God our savior, who wills everyone to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth.” (1Timothy 2:1-4).
The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in Indiana to the visionary Sister Mildred in 1956 and identified herself as “Our Lady of America, The Immaculate Virgin, Patroness of your land.” She asked for purity and promised peace and protection if we responded to her requests.
Let us practice purity and pray through Our Lady of America her Novena for her promised peace and protection, especially for our President, and for true change and hope for America.
While our hope is placed in the eternal city, yet we must labor in the earthly city and transmit hope for its peace. This was what St. Augustine did during the fall of the Roman Empire. Pope Benedict told us what St. Augustine did. “Amid the serious difficulties facing the Roman Empire—and also posing a serious threat to Roman Africa, which was actually destroyed at the end of Augustine's life—this was what he set out to do: to transmit hope, the hope which came to him from faith and which, in complete contrast with his introverted temperament, enabled him to take part decisively and with all his strength in the task of building up the city.” (Pope Benedict XVI. Encyclical Letter, Spe Salvi, Saved by Hope, 23).
This task of “building up the city” is hope in action through which we strive to realize our lesser and greater hopes and to work towards a better city and world. In “building up the city”, we need greater and lesser hopes that keep us going day by day. “But these are not enough without the great hope, which must surpass everything else. This great hope can only be God, who encompasses the whole of reality and who can bestow upon us what we, by ourselves, cannot attain.” (Pope Benedict XVI. Encyclical Letter, Spe Salvi, Saved by Hope, 31).
One of these blessings that only God can bestow is peace on earth of which the angels sang at Bethlehem. Our Lady of America has promised this blessing of peace if we follow her requests. This is one of our hopes. It was also the hope of our Founding Fathers. They expressed their hope in the preamble to the United Sates Constitution “to insure domestic Tranquility. . . and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.” To realize these hopes we must return to our founding principles.
If we are morally resolved to maintain a just and free society and we fulfill the requests of Our Lady of America, we will realize her promises. She said, “It is the United States that is to lead the world to peace.” She is our hope for the States - our hope to lead us to purity of hearts, minds and bodies so that we may lead the world to purity and peace.
Our Lady of America desires to see the Kingdom of Jesus established in all hearts. She wants to further the cause of faith and purity among peoples and nations. She revealed that the youth of America are challenged to be the leaders of this movement of renewal on the face of the earth. She wants us to help her to once again bring the sunshine of God’s peace upon the world. Then, she said, “God will walk among you and you will have peace.”

Only Boys ALOUD
Gods way of making things right for this wonderful group of young men. When ever possible God rebuilds his broken world with peace, unity and love. My sister has been sending me the youtube video's of these young men from Whales who have only been put together for a short period of time. The man who founded this chorus did it to give the so many unemployed young men in Whales a reason to do the right thing.
A reason to stay off drugs and out of trouble. As a mother of 5 sons and a person who understands how difficult it is for young men to be noticed in a world dominated by female success stories I had to let this wonderful group of young men and their director be know to as many people as possible.
I am so impressed!

Pentecost June 4, 2017 Bishops meeting in Indianapolis next week - please pray!
"By thy Holy and Immaculate Conception, O Mary, deliver us from evil" |
Several Bishops have relayed that the devotion to Our Lady of America and the requested procession are under consideration by various committees of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. This is the first time since the 1956 when Our Lady of America first appeared in Indiana that the Bishops as a group have discerned this devotion.
On June 14-15, 2017 the Spring Assembly of the Bishops Conference will meet in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Archdiocese of Indianapolis is the Metropolitan See of the State of Indiana. It is also an Archdiocese where there has been good ecclesiastical support for this devotion (See blog). The former Indianapolis Archbishop, Cardinal Tobin would frequently ask about the devotion and progress.
Please pray for these holy men who are called to lead the Church in the United States. Pray that whatever discussions and decisions they make while in Indianapolis are under the care and intercession of Our Lady of America. And in particular pray that Our Lady of America's requests are honored and fulfilled. Please consider a Novena of Masses, Rosaries, or the Prayer to Our Lady of America, The Immaculate Virgin for this intention.
Please order your free prayer cards and do your part to spread this devotion.

Novena to the Holy Spirit Day 9
Goodness
Let us bow down in humility at the power and grandeur of the Holy Spirit. Let us worship the Holy Trinity and give glory today to the Paraclete, our Advocate.
Oh Holy Spirit, by Your power, Christ was raised from the dead to save us all. By Your grace, miracles are performed in Jesus’ name. By Your love, we are protected from evil. And so, we ask with humility and a beggar’s heart for Goodness within us.
We want to be like your Saints in heaven. Holy Spirit, renew us by your power with your Goodness that we may bring the Good News to the world.
Amen.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord,
Amen.

Novena to the Holy Spirit Day 8
Self-Control
Let us bow down in humility at the power and grandeur of the Holy Spirit. Let us worship the Holy Trinity and give glory today to the Paraclete, our Advocate.
Oh Holy Spirit, by Your power, Christ was raised from the dead to save us all. By Your grace, miracles are performed in Jesus’ name. By Your love, we are protected from evil. And so, we ask with humility and a beggar’s heart for Your gift of Self-Control within us.
Your Martyrs had the overwhelming self-control to go joyfully to a painful death without shrinking from the opportunity to join You in heaven. Give us this self-control to have command over our emotions and desires that we may serve You more fully.
Amen.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord,
Amen.

Novena to the Holy Spirit Day 7
Gentleness
Let us bow down in humility at the power and grandeur of the Holy Spirit. Let us worship the Holy Trinity and give glory today to the Paraclete, our Advocate.
Oh Holy Spirit, by Your power, Christ was raised from the dead to save us all. By Your grace, miracles are performed in Jesus’ name. By Your love, we are protected from evil. And so, we ask with humility and a beggar’s heart for Your gift of Gentleness within us.
Despite the gravity of our sins, oh Lord you treat us with Gentleness. Dear Holy Spirit, give us your power to treat all in our lives with the Gentleness of the Saints.
Amen.
Come
Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the
fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And
You shall renew the face of the earth.
O,
God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of
the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise
and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord,
Amen.
