Let us bow down in humility at the power and grandeur of the Holy Spirit. Let us worship the Holy Trinity and give glory today to the Paraclete, our Advocate.
Oh Holy Spirit, by Your power, Christ was raised from the dead to save us all. By Your grace, miracles are performed in Jesus’ name. By Your love, we are protected from evil. And so, we ask with humility and a beggar’s heart for Your gift of Patience within us.
Oh Holy Spirit, you give lavishly to those who ask. Please give us the patience of the Saints who are now with you in heaven. Help us to endure everything with an eternal patience that is only possible with your help.
Amen.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

Dear children, All that my Son, Who is the light of love, has done and does, He has done out of love. Also you, my children, when you live in love and love your neighbors, you are doing the will of my Son. Apostles of my love, make yourselves little; open your pure hearts to my Son so that He can work through you. With the help of faith, be filled with love. But, my children, do not forget that the Eucharist is the heart of faith. This is my Son who feeds you with His Body and strengthens you with His Blood. This is a miracle of love: my Son who always comes anew, alive, to bring life back to souls. My children, by living in love you are doing the will of my Son and He lives in you. My children, my motherly desire is for you to always love Him more, because He is calling you with His love. He is giving you love so that you may spread it to all those around you. As a mother, through His love, I am with you to speak the words of love and hope to you-to speak to you the eternal words that are victorious over time and death-so as to call you to be my apostles of love. Baptism requires rejecting Satan and professing one's full faith in God, Pope Francis said.
Only by being able to say "no" to the devil, his works and empty promises "am I able to say 'yes' to God, who calls me to conform myself to him in thoughts and deeds," he said.
"It is not possible to follow Christ (while) imposing preconditions," he said May 2 during his weekly general audience in St. Peter's Square.
Continuing his series of talks on the sacrament of baptism, the pope looked at the importance of the heart being ready to receive the gift of new life from God through the baptismal water and the Holy Spirit. When a child is presented for baptism, its parents and godparents renew the vows of their own baptism in rejecting sin and professing faith in Jesus.
"Either you are with God or with the devil," the pope said, which is why the renunciation of sin and the profession of faith are "two acts tightly connected to each other."
One must break with the past and its sinful attachments, "leaving them behind in order to embark on the new way, which is Christ" and to be able to "truly embrace others," he said.
"The devil divides and God always unites the community, the people" in one body, he said.
During the baptismal rite, he said, the individual is asked to respond in the first person, to reject evil and profess his or her faith as a sign of choosing to be personally responsible in this daily commitment of trusting in God and walking with him.
The profession of faith reflects a commitment -- aided by baptism -- to be strong and persevere throughout all of life's trials and temptations, he added.
"Rejecting sin, the temptations of evil, Satan -- the source and cause of every sin -- and faith in what the church believes" are not temporary or provisional commitments asked only at baptism, Pope Francis said.
They are required throughout life, he said, and "the presence of the Holy Spirit will give you the strength to fight well" against evil and temptation.
Whenever people bless themselves with holy water, he said, they should recall with joy and gratitude the gift they received on the day of their baptism and they ask for the grace to persevere and live "immersed" in God's love.
It is getting absolutely insane the lengths to which teachers, administrators, and curriculum designers go these days to sneak sexually explicit and morally questionable material into school materials.
The commentator Matt Walsh rightfully called this “grooming” on his show before the Sex Ed Walkout, which he fully endorsed and which was a huge success, exposing the blatant brainwashing taking place in our nation’s schools.
We report on numerous incidents of this “grooming” every month on this website, and sadly, the examples just keep coming. Gender identity, homosexuality, and detailed tutorials on explicit sex acts are becoming the norm, and they’re not even limited to sex ed anymore.
A California school district recently ruled that parents could not excuse their children from any kind of lesson other than sex ed, very convenient considering they are legally allowed to teach on all things related to sexuality and gender if it does not directly refer to sex organs and their functions. A Florida father was recently outraged to discover that his daughter’s school seems to be falling in line with this trend, sneaking a completely unnecessary explicit and inappropriate question into what should have been a simple question on blood types. The question, which Omar Austin discovered on his daughter’s anatomy assignment from Westside High School in Duval County, Florida, read: “Ursula was angry after her boyfriend broke up with her after having sex. To get revenge, she had sex with his best friend the next day. Ursula had a beautiful baby girl nine months later. Ursula has type O blood, her ex-boyfriend has type AB blood and his best friend is type A blood. If her baby daddy is her ex-boyfriend what could the possible blood type(s) of her baby NOT be.”
“What the heck?” he said in a Facebook post on the outrageous question. “This is a disgrace to our educational system and probably one of the most biased pieces of information I have ever read. Where the hell are our schools going?”
What
the heck, indeed!! Why on earth do high school students need to hear
about the vengeful sexual escapades of hypothetical people? What
possible purpose could this serve than to normalize pre-marital sex and
promiscuity?
The
moral degradation of our nation is taking place in our schools, as our
young people are being pushed far away from the values on which our
country was founded. One shudders to think of the future of our culture
and our society when children are being brought up in this way.
The Sex Ed Sit out is far from over. It was a great success last week–but the work is just beginning!
